What We Do: Journey Kits
If you are just starting out in this journey into childhood cancer, a journey kit can be provided to you free of charge. This is our way of trying to get some resources and financial help to you right away during a time that is full of much emotional turmoil.
The journey kit arrives in a canvas tote bag and within in the bag you will find:
- Living With Childhood Cancer: A Practical Guide to Help Families Cope
- H is for Hair Fairy: An Alphabet of Encouragement and Insight for Kids (and Kids at Heart!) with Cancer
- When Molly was in the Hospital: A Book for Brothers and Sisters of Hospitalized Children
- Activity Book
- Notebook, file-folder and pens
- A pack of unique encouragement cards created just for the Natalie Tanner Foundation by Openers. Each hand-shaped card opens to reveal bits of wisdom from families of children with cancer as well as other encouraging quotes.
- Wire flower card holder to display the encouragement cards
- Gift cards for food and gas
