Kristen Tanner, Vice President - Kristen is Natalie's mother. Before Natalie was diagnosed with cancer, she didn't even know that there was an awareness ribbon for pediatric cancer. Once her family's life became intertwined with pediatric cancer, it was shocking and frustrating to her to learn that the financial support and public awareness of pediatric cancer was lacking. Kristen decided to channel that frustration into doing something positive to make a change. Her own personal experience with pediatric cancer as well as her everyday role as a mother to two children offers valuable insight into exactly what a pediatric cancer family needs, feels and experiences. Kristen also works as a preop and recovery room registered nurse for an outpatient orthopedic surgery center. kristen@nataliesfoundation.org
